Poll question: How is your LOCAL media covering the elections?

1. NY-26 just recently added to the "Red to Blue" tally...

However the polling lately is all over the place. Two weeks ago Davis had Reynolds by 8, however Reynolds now has Davis by +5.

It's amazing how the largely held Democratic leads nationwide even have seemingly tied themselves up, or given slight leads to Republicon candidates. Take Virginia for instance.

I'm so sick of polling anyhow. The best way to gauge the electorate is to get out there in the streets and volunteer. I'm much more enthusiastic for 2006 after actually meeting and talking with folks who are genuinely upset and disgusted with the GOP.

I'm not worried.

2. I don't know exactly how to respond to this...

Most people think of Alaska as a Republican state. However, our local newspaper has endorsed Democrat Tony Knowles for governor, and has been slamming Republican Don Young in editorials for weeks (although they haven't made an official endorsement for the U.S. House race yet). I guess that would be tending toward the Dems in a Republican area.
