First off, technically a lie is about facts. Coulter rarely deals in facts. "Democrats are godless" and "liberals are traitors" are not facts, but assertions. They're wrong assertions, but theyr'e not really being presented as facts.

Secondly, she is not "caught" on her ignorant bullshit in any significant way. Mostly mainstream media treats her like a retarded step daughter with her Tourettes-like spewings polluting the dialog but rarely bothering to dispute her absurdities. No one calls her on the things she says; they only chuckle at her preposterous statements, allow it to denegrate the tone and atmosphere in which the grown ups debate, and then move onto serious discussions. You may catch her lies, but no one on the air counters her in any significant way--nor will they ever do so, so long as her intellectual monkey farts continue to attract an audience.

Nice video.
I think one can often make similar observations when people like Coulter are involved.
Like this saying about the dumb people always being cocksure. She actually believes that she is right on pretty much everything and when confronted with being wrong, they just cant accept it. It's impossible for her to be wrong.

Oh that was a beautiful thing to see that interviewer keep calmly saying that she was wrong and her saying back "I think you're wrong about that." With her shifty eyes moving all over the place (probably looking for Sean), you could see that she knew she was screwed. I'm sure her bowels loosened and she felt a flush coming up her neck to her face. She was downright abashed in the face of TRUTH.
