It's not a matter of candidates not donating at all. It's a matter of candidates not donating more, when this is a significant moment for the Democratic Party.

9. That is all any PAC is allowed to contribute to a congressional campaign......

However, they could give much more to the Senate or House campaign Committee...

A PAC which is not a multi candidate PAC, ie party organization, is allowed to contribute 2100.00. The limit was adjusted for inflation... A candidate's, including sitting conngressional members, committee is considered a PAC when contributions are made to other candidates...
