Who would be willing to send a deployed military friend care packages or mail?

I have a close friend who is now in her 4th deployment to the middle east. She has lots of friends and loved ones who are sending her stuff but I thought it would be nice to get some things from members of DU to show our support.

She is an incredibly fun and intelligent person who joined to further her education in the medical field.

1. I have a friend that was deployed to Iraq and he loved

fresh baked cookies. There is a very specific way to wrap it so it doesn't get held up for a month. The guys and girls over there love the cookies. PM me if you want the method. Kudos to you for helping someone out over there.

A friend of mine, a nurse, was stationed in Iraq for quite sometime. I know the troops are very appreciative of anything they get!
I have some small games, puzzles, books, that type of thing.
