1. Don't know about today but
there seems to be an information black hole about the ammo dump the other day. Methinks there was a major disaster there and they don't want the news to come out this close to election day.

4. Yep, a total blackout on the news
The unreliable arabic sources say it took 9 planes to evacuate all the wounded and 33 burned armoured vehicles were evacuated from the base.

What to believe? :(
We hear nothing about the situation with a big ammo depot destruction.

2. There was a big attack on a base up in Mosul yesterday
Someone in GD got a call from their son at the start of the attack. Haven't seen anything in the news since about that one though?

I get a feeling the Iraqis have kicked it up a notch.
