Putting away the guns and quest for weapons make Mumur one of the wisest leaders of his time. I give hem 10 years and with moves like this, we will be outsourcing American jos to Libya. You can be sure that these children will not be playing games on the computer but will be learning and preparing.

2. Quite a coup by Gadhafi and quite typical of his Benevolent Dictator style

I live in Africa for 10 years and in contrast to his reputation in the U.S. Gadhafi was
know for the egalitarian social policies he pursued even as he continued his personal style
of sleeping in his desert tent and rejecting many of the typical perogatives of heads of state.

3. This has been an ongoing project.

They've already done work in Cambodia and Tunesia. I think it's a great idea. Teach kids, show them that there's a big wide beautiful world outside of their little villages, and make them global citizens.

The laptops are a great idea -- simple, efficient, and capable of being operated by crank or foot pedal in the absence of a source of electricity.

I've been following this project for a while now and am pleased that it's expanding.
