We've been looking at the GOP the wrong way

We need to look at the GOP as though it is a criminal organization.

So, we should all do a little reading.

And maybe we'll learn a good strategy to use against them.

1. RICO statutes
I've been looking at the party leadership, both nationally and in individual states, that way for a very long time.

The Abramoff scandal is the perfect place to start. If that wasn't interstate racketeering, what is?

Political parties are not sacred institutions, but they're being treated that way. Prosecutors have been pussyfooting around the "R" word (racketeering) for years.

It's high time somebody stands up to them and calls them what they are, a criminal organization engaged in shakedowns, bribes, threats, pandering, theft, and coverup.

It's a racket, not a party.
