The Moral High Ground That Wasn't...

For many years the Repubs have run as the Party of "morality" and "character". In hindsight, that has probably been the most effective weapon for them, especially with the "religious right" crowd. In the last couple of weeks, it has all been exposed as a facade. Not only were they just as "immoral" as the Democrats, they were worse - they were hypocrites. They did everything they accused the Democrats of doing and they did it in secret. They lost their "moral" high ground.

After killing Indians, enslaving Blacks, putting Mexicans out of their homes, repeatedly interfering in Central and South America along with every other country...there has never ever been any "moral" high ground.

:rofl: :rofl: As Eleanor Roosevelt once said "Don't tell me you are a Christian, Let me figure it out on my own" I would be extremely hard pressed to figure that one out..A real Christian doesn't spend all their time preaching hatred and bigotry
