We have a bank of TVs in our office building that are on 24/7. Faux is the only one with the volume turned up. I've seen the same at some McDonalds' and other establishments I've been to (though with the volume down, so you can only "read" the "Foley D-FL" bs. Divergent thought: considering "bang for the buck", is it just a curious coincidence that the show with the highest numbers had the most intentionally egregious error inserted into it? Hmmm).

Anyway, could all those countless "unwatched" / background noise screens be contributing to the O'Reilly (or the FNC, in general) numbers?

... the demographics that advertisers want to see. Apparently those demographics show KO above Larry King. And in TV-Land (not to be confused with the channel now) the bosses are only really worried about one thing: $$$$$$$'s. Now all we need is Keith's ratings in all age groups to go up and maintain the ratings in the "money demographic" and M$NBC will be raking in the money.
