1. more information
Like is that for CONVICTED or suspected criminals?

Cause I'd love to add some guys to that to but they were never convicted of a crime.

7. Well I guess it's only been 40 hours since Foley's follies were exposed
I don't believe Foley is new to the boy-toy thing, and would be disgusted to learn of another future event.

4. Best Show On TV. Having That Said, This Isn't Really The Place
Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 12:06 AM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
for you to ask that. Have you seen the Lounge yet? It's where you can ask all sorts of stuff like that. It gets really silly sometimes in there as well. It's a must stop on occassion for GD stress relief. :)

And welcome to DU!

6. Good to know, thanks.
Besides, I'm new here and I am not smart enough to figure out how to start a new topic.

11. LOL. There Are A Certain Amount Of Posts You Have To Get First Before
Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 01:09 AM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
you're able to start your own thread. You'll be able to soon enough though.

Have you been to the Lounge yet? That's generally where non-political topics are posted. When non-political or news worthy topics are posted in GD (General Discussion), the mods will generally move the threads over to there.

Tell your partner though that my wife and I are addicted to 24 and can't wait for the new season to start. Don't hurt my Jack! LOL

9. As a former Intelligence Officer, I claim 24 is pure fiction ... candy
for the ignorant. True information is gleaned by questioning, not torturing anyone who is detained. Just like John Wayne movies got many soldiers killed by not seeking cover, 24 is pure fantasy. True Intelligence Gathering is much less glamorous and has to do with thoughtful work and comparing notes with other agents.

Well Doh! Stupid Dramas that are far from the REAL WORLD. :puke:

5. Yes, I want to know why the FBI who CREW has alerted has
not already sealed off Foley's Congressional Office?

At a minimum, they need to confiscate his computer HARD drives. Further, they may be able to glean more information with a warrant to AOL.

If the FBI is not a total Tool of The Bush Administration, they should be all over the Foley, "sexual predator" case.

The mere facts that he's sent sexually explicit IMs and Emails to TWO underage male Pages, provides *probable cause* that there are other under age Pages that he may have solicited or actually seduced as a Sexual Predator. :grr:

Come on FBI, be true to your ideals. :patriot:

10. I have not heard of any action by the FBI although CREW has asked
for an investigation.

It's always disappointing but often we must GOOSE our public officials to do their damn job.
