Anyone know what happened to Randi Rhodes today?

I was listening to her show and left the room for a few minutes. Came back and Randi was gone, replaced by someone called Rachel Maddow. Anyone heard of her?

That was strange. Suddenly she's gone. No announcement that I heard.

Is Air America going nuts? She's the biggest draw they have IMO.

Or has it been taken over by right wingnuts? That how it feels to me.

Rachel Maddow is absolutely wonderful, listen to her. I only get 2 hours of Randi.

5. Her show is an hour shorter now....

she airs from 3-6 now (unless you have a different lineup). She's no longer doing the 6-7 hour. That's now permanently (until they change it again) the Rachel Maddow Show, which runs from 6 - 8 p.m.

Mine sent out emails about the new lineup a few days ahead of the changes.

7. I like Rachel, and being out here on the west coast, she was

always on WAAAAAY to early for me to listen to her every day (now, sadly, it's that way with Sam Seder, and I can't afford to get AAR Premium right now). But I like Rachel.

Do miss that extra hour of Randi, but she is really happy about it, and I can't say I blame her.
