Imagine! being *D*R*U*N*K* on this every second of your life . . .
colleagues and others feel ". . . the temperature seemed to drop five degrees" whenever he walked into an elevator.
That was a common perception WH and CIA staffers had of Scooter Libby, according to a Bush NSC official in Michael Isikoff's and David Corn's book "Hubris".
Imagine the self-reinforcing insanity of this dynamic. I've looked at pictures of Libby and wondered about what appears to be utter contempt written there.
I've only just started reading this book. There is a level of "explanation" of Cheney and Bush I have not encountered elsewhere. I'm looking forward to seeing where Isikoff and Corn take it.
What is that expression on his face? Do you think he is thinking about his own "Greatness"? "Significance"? "Leadership"? "Power"? What IS that expression on his face?
