Imagine! being *D*R*U*N*K* on this every second of your life . . .
colleagues and others feel ". . . the temperature seemed to drop five degrees" whenever he walked into an elevator.

That was a common perception WH and CIA staffers had of Scooter Libby, according to a Bush NSC official in Michael Isikoff's and David Corn's book "Hubris".

Imagine the self-reinforcing insanity of this dynamic. I've looked at pictures of Libby and wondered about what appears to be utter contempt written there.

I've only just started reading this book. There is a level of "explanation" of Cheney and Bush I have not encountered elsewhere. I'm looking forward to seeing where Isikoff and Corn take it.

9. Academic hood (medieval in origin). He's at a graduation somewhere
being awarded an honorary degree, which explains the "Ain't I just somethin' Ma" look, also.

4. Oh dear! What is that around his neck?
What is that expression on his face? Do you think he is thinking about his own "Greatness"? "Significance"? "Leadership"? "Power"? What IS that expression on his face?

6. I'll bet that is something it was like to be around Libby.
Like whenever he was around, or working with others, humanity would leave.

7. We must not let their self-fulfilling prophecies win.
Must not let them define the terms of the struggle. They win if we are just Reactionary. Progress is proactive (*way* *way* ahead of their game).
