RNC Response to John Kerry's Appearance Today On ABC's This Week

WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- RNC Communications Director Brian Jones responded to Senator John Kerry's appearance on ABC's This Week with the following statement.

"Sen. Kerry displayed his signature pessimism and defeatism today that the American people rejected during his failed presidential bid. While Democrat leaders like Sen. Kerry continue to show they still do not grasp the dynamic and dangers of a post 9/11 world, President Bush remains focused on doing everything in his power to keep Americans safe and secure."

1. No. A truthful press release would read "President bush** remains
committed to covering his own felonious ass in this post-leak world in regard to his secret wiretaps."

2. It is always interesting to see what they respond to.
The contents of the response can be ignored. They obviously fear an independent investigation of domestic spying by the administration (duh.)

Oh, and what a bunch a scaredy cats (or in their terms: girly men) who would trade our fundamental rights for a false sense of security.

Live free or die, death is not the worst of evils.
- John Stark, american patriot.

3. Excuse me, but who just returned from Iraq, asshat? (not
you, sabra:) )
It is SO annoying to hear this crap. Why do they feel compelled to respond to an appearance on a news show to begin with? Perhaps Kerry got a bit too close to the truth for comfort.
Pessimism and defeatism? I surely didn't see that. And Kerry was not rejected, brianjones. We were all robbed! dimson and 'focused' really shouldn't be used in the same sentence, though tis good for a giggle.

5. Pffft. That's it? They paid for that?
Grasp this, RNC. You can't maintain the lie anymore. Thanks for the free press for Kerry, btw. Bwahahahahaha.

6. more "everything changed 9/11" crap..
Here's what changed:
1) High School kids were allowed to start bringing cell phones to school.
2) The B*sh malAdministration got the excuse it needed to launch an all-out assault on the Constitution and our Liberty.

that's it.. nothing else.

7. They are completely unoriginal
I swear I could do these for them at this point. They need new writers.

8. Kind of boiler plate rhetoric. I don't think the man's heart is in it
I usually hear the words "nine-eleven" to mean "I have nothing relevent left to say on this matter."

10. Just imagine if the DNC had an echo chamber
That swooped in with all the great sound bites from the Sunday Shows. Might even shut me up for five minutes if that happened.

11. Lame.
Maybe they could number these lame, nonresponsive slurs and save ink by just announcing, "RNC Response #11." Everyone could just check their card and go, "#11? Oh, yeah, defeatism...pessimism...danger...post-9/11....Okay, whatever."
