FALLUJAH, Iraq - Three US soldiers have been killed in a bomb attack in the restive western Iraqi city of Fallujah, a police captain said. US headquarters confirmed the casualty count on Tuesday.

Captain Hamed Fayad of the Fallujah police said three Americans were killed on Monday when a roadside bomb blew apart their Humvee jeep in the Nazal neighbourhood in the south of the city near the Abdel Aziz Samarrai mosque.
