1. As concerned as I get when they use the Italian or Canadian flags...
...which is not at all.

There's nothing wrong with being proud of one's heritage.

4. No. the only flags that bother me are the Nazi and the confederate
battle flags, and then only when used by people who claim to be patriotic Americans.
And people who wave those flags are people who get most upset about the Mexican flag.

6. No...
Why the anxiety about people celebrating their heritage? Do people freak out over all the folks wearing green on St. Patrick's Day?

What does that have to do with what I asked?

I live in S.W. Florida and I see more Mexican & Puerto rican Flags thant I do American flags.

So I'll ask again, wheres the problem?

ON EDIT: for the past 4 years I have been flying the Rainbow flag over the American flag.

11. People get more upset over a damn piece of cloth than the Constitution
and Bill of Rights being torn apart. Grow up, it's a flag. I see all kinds of them everywhere, people are proud of their heritage. My predecessors don't have a flag or a 'homeland' (we invade yours like fleas on a dog), and even I understand this to some degree - I find it weird, but I understand the sentimentality for the old days/old home, if you will.

Why can't we embrace our Latino brothers, they are in the same position as we are. It's the damn uber-rich overlords we need to be fighting against. We could certainly use some unity in that struggle. Stop looking down, and start looking up!

they can fly their flags all they want, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not much of a flag fetishist anyway

15. Not really, no...
doesn't bother me to see someone with an Irish flag on Saint Patrick's Day or an Italian flag on Columbus Day, either.

I may not approve of this administration but I still feel this is a great country to live in.

18. Why don't
you go to a foreign country of your choice tear down their flag from a government building and put up the American flag and post back and tell us how it went. I will be waiting to hear from you.

20. Nope...but I grew up in San Antonio
Sometimes known as 'Monterrey North'

(No problem with foreign flags in geography or foreign language classrooms, or at martial arts studios, but I think raising a flag of any country besides the U.S. at a federal building is inappropriate, though....)
