Laura Flanders is doing an EXCELLENT show on New Orleans
Some of the real story is coming out in this show, and it's horrific. A large portion of the city is still without electricity, contractors are taking money and doing little to no work, and children were left without any mental health backup. Neighborhood activists (ACORN) apparently went to the UN because the Bush government is just not moving on anything and the abuses of the contrators seem rampant.
