"As a side note, Rocky V didn't really exist. It was all a figment of our imaginations"
This is one Bill Simmons fav lines.
"But I can't wait for Rocky VI."
Not so sure. I was recently reviewing the Stallone "Renaissance" of the mid 90's (your Cliffhangers, Demolition Man, Assassins, The Specialist and the hilarious self parody Judge Dredd) and I was left wanting because he has been in nothing even "bad movie" good of late.
What was the last movie Stallone that was even enjoyable? For me it would have to be Copland.
29. Yeah, that is the guy! His house was flooded, and he had been
at the hospital with his wife giving birth and he was working, and then he tries to go home and the SS makes him go 20 fricking miles out of his way (with no gas stations working in case he needed a fill-up) just to get home because the SS is freaking paranoid that someone wants to hurt that Asswipe. Telling him off emboldened alot of people who had been silent for far too long.
What's the matter with MSNBC? Don't they know they're supposed to just air the footage of the photo op and never think about or speak about the incident again? Why are they doing a follow-up, and for heaven's sake, why in the world is Mr. Vaccarella (an Italian name derived from the word for "tool" or so I'm told) going on the air? He's a prop and supposed to go back to the prop room when he's done serving his purpose.
Man, somebody screwed up big time. The only possible outcome is another round of Medals of Freedom.
He himself acknowledges being a 'southern democrat' who became a Reagan Republican - the very epitome of a neoconservative reichbot, imho. He's a despicable dissembler - a damned fool who can't learn from getting scammed over and over and over again by people who pander to his hatreds and bigotries.
