In Katrina, the American people were told that they needed to be responsible for themselves for three days. With supplies of water, canned good, medicine and essentials. That the government couldn't be responsible for them in that dangerous short time frame.
Now in a war zone, you are on you're own for two to three weeks. I wonder if these Americans should have prepared themselves for an unforeseen violent outbreak? I hope they got all the water and canned goods that can help them survive for this time period.
I think the only thing that Homeland Security might have forgot to tell the victims of Katrina and the people stuck in a war zone, is that you should have your own DINGY too!
What kind of government charges its citizens to be rescued from danger? What do we pay taxes for?
Oh and on another note, don't ever show the deciderer eating on T.V. again, I don't think I can stomache it.
