On the Bush open mic comments:
"See the irony is what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it's over."

^^^Doesn't make any fucking sense.^^^

Does this man understand the meaning of irony? This man makes us all look so dumb.

1. He is just stupid.
I'm only surprised he didn't say "ironical."

5. I think the irony is that they wanted Syria out of Lebanon
And now they need Syria to control conditions in Lebanon.

7. I studied that transcript, too. A lot of weird Bush statements.
"No, just gonna make it up."

No prepared remarks, no thought for the consequences of possibly
offending anyone, and no qualms about being held accountable.

"What about Kofi Annan? I don't like the sequence of it. His attitude is basically cease-fire and everything else happens."

Sounds like Bush thinks cease fires are for sissies.

"She's going. I think Condi's going to go pretty soon."

Bush sounds like someone else is making the decisions and they'll let
him know about Condi's plans shortly.

"I felt like telling Kofi to get on the phone with Assad and make something happen."

But Bush didn't do that, did he? In fact, the idea that Bush would even
consider abating to the UN (which he hates and ignores) is almost
comical.
