Joan, - this is sort of a ramble, so bear with me...

You are very good at accumulating information. I was astounded by the fact that the state of Florida does not allow recounts after voting machines have recorded votes. If I am not mistaken, this is the same law that was just passed in Ohio with the help (mandate) of Ohio Dictator of State J. Kenneth Blackwell. Interesting that this man also went to Florida in 2000 to help deliver the vote to Bush.

Your information is accurate and well documented.

My concern is John Gideon's timely quote. "We are headed for a major Train Wreck in November". You and I - and all the bloggers are right on track as far as the facts about Election Fraud. We all read it every day. Collectively, we don our computers and we shell out and receive information about the new DRE's and what a scam this is going to be on the American voters. You have a very important job of funneling this information to OpEdNews. Polls show that 98% don't trust the new DRE voting machinds.

Prior to 2004 I voted the Republican ticket. Now at age 67 I have stepped out of the forest and discovered the trees were rotten - my apologies to the human race. I equate my situation to a dream that many people have at times. I detect danger to myself or a loved one and I open my mouth to warn them and nothing comes out. So I think to myself, how can I tell people about the Train Wreck?

Proprietary Software of voting machine vendors must be open to public scrutiny. This is our vote. Nobody wants to pirate software from Diebold, ES&S, or Sequoia.. Who would steal something that doesn't work? Anyone can see that these systems are flawed, just tune in to the results from various states, http://www.votersunite.org/ . Already, reports are streaming in that training precinct workers in time for the November election is an effort in futility. Instituting the new DRE voting machines on a nation (en-mass) is like testing a new missile armed with a deadly warhead.

I only hope that we can continue to reach people like Lou Dobbs, Keith Olberman and the new progressive radio talk shows with the facts on Election Fraud.

I would be a fool to cast a ballot with the knowledge my vote could be "switched" to the opposition. In my state 52 % of us are now registered as Unaffiliated. My only choice is to get involved in the election process. More first hand knowledge may renew my confidence in elections.
