Surprising Jump in Tax Revenues Is Curbing Deficit

By EDMUND L. ANDREWS
Published: July 9, 2006
Tax revenues are climbing twice as fast as the administration predicted in February, so fast that the budget deficit could actually decline this year.

BOOBOO's comment:

We keep more of our money, company owners keep more of their
money.....good things start happening. (EXCEPT at the NYT)

Gee, go figure.

uh, no, depending on what you make, you keep like a pittance more per check ...and blowme.Inc GETS A FEW MILLION KICKED BACK..oh and they'll create a few cool underpaying jobs so the employment figures look good. I think it's called corporate welfare for a reason.

I would like to honestly know from as unbiased a source as anyone can muster...whose assessment is more accurate, twinkles over here, or mine? Be honest now. By the way, I would normally laugh this off, but it is meant as a "see libs, what do you know?" kind of post.

I know this, manboy: You're what's wrong with the world.

**Oh, and I never could find a link to the original source of the article either.

1. I'm watching Jack Welch on Hardball
He's talking about how great the economy is. And about "hedge funds" and the Russell Fund. How many people even now what a hedge fund is? I've never heard of the Russell Fund for pity sakes.

The space between the haves and the have a littles is just too great for them up there on their mountain top to understand us down here in the valeys. Feh.

not a big fan of InSanity?

Lets not forget his orgasm over all the new jobs created last month - 120,000.

Of course, it takes 150,000 just to keep up with the growing population.

But the good economic news is all over the place - according to Sean

7. 300 Billion "off budget" deficit
the gov't decided to change their accounting practices. Now they have a bunch of the deficit "off budget" - meaning they just pretend it isn't there.

As for the economy. Yes, there is big money to be had by the uppermost. They are actually doing quite well. Since that's the only group Bushco gives a fig about then it explains the Hannityswill.
