Will this man ever stop humiliating us?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/07/06/AR2006070601437.html

Yet again, Bush made an ass of himself for all the world to see. Here is part of a report of his recent press conference with Steven Harper. Try to remember that the man, Bush, is trying to make a good impression.

But the president couldn't maintain perfect decorum. When Harper insisted on making all his remarks in French and English, a bored-looking Bush winked at a couple of the American reporters.

The president sprang to life whenever the subject turned to his birthday. After a Canadian reporter brought it up, Bush complained that "it's amazing that the first birthday greeting I got from the press came from the Canadian press." Bush added that 60 is "a lot younger than you think."

end of quote quote is from page 2

We indulge three year olds who behave this way, because, well they are three. A child of mine who behaved in such a self centered and selfish manner even at say age five, would find himself or herself without birthday gifts for a few days. A teenaged child of mine who behaved that way would be grounded for a couple of weeks. If an adult child of mine behaved that way, I would slink in humiliation. This man is beyond belief.

4. what's most curious to me
is how 'muricans look at him and, instead of slinking in humiliation, think "what a guy!"...give those French Canadian assholes a heapin' spoonful of red blooded 'muricanism...:puke:

i've been slinking for six long, painful years...i'm used to it

*slinking*

5. I just emailed Milbank:

Mr. Milbank:

What a buffoon our pResident is, don't you agree? His birthday, like that of any 5-year-old, is far more important than things like dignified diplomacy.

It's a shame, however, that these Americans who shared Bush's exact date of birth couldn't be there to celebrate their 60th birthdays -- they were killed in Vietnam, where GW should surely have gone and would likely have perished given his incompetence at virtually everything:

11. I think you just nailed what is wrong with Bush.
He never grew up and matured into a man.
