What is it like to be an American?

My contact with my home country is vague. This country seems to work and rest on its laurels. The past has been dismissed and is rarely studied. The present is a disgrace; as we seek to export Democracy where it is neither unwanted or justified. We interfere with the Gods of other men and we fail to respect their deities as being equal to the so called founding Christian God of the USA. We are moronic in our justifications, so deep in denial that our disease of Nation Making continues at full speed.

We have sacrificed 2500 plus lives for a conflict that was entirely man made and unjustified. Are the deaths of these young men worth the elimination of a dictator? Are there other Dictators now in existence and wreaking havoc upon their peoples? Start with the Chinese Dictator. We now have a President and a Congress hell bent on self serving and fundamentalist extremes. The good of the people is secondplace and their willpower is as destructive as a crack addict in full usage. The lies, the deceit, the corporate cronyism, the seeking of more and more power until it becomes absolute is their higher power.

God Bless America and we need to save ourselves from these uncompromising madmen before the world is ablaze in fear, xenophobia, homophobia and men are unable to reconcile.
