Treason, Republican Style...Does al-Qaeda want the Republicans to win?
Think about the 2004 election...I am not the first to say this, but I am starting to understand a secret strategy al-Qaeda has used against our country.

If you were a terrorist, and you were fighting the most powerful country in the world, what would you do to bring down the enemy without fighting them directly? You'd try to bring their government down from the inside. Al-Qaeda attacked us in 2001, during the time they were using their old strategy, but now they have switched to a new one, help the Republicans win.

Republicans have single-handedly destroyed most of the principles our nation was founded on, and al-Qaeda knows that. The Republicans are the best allies of al-Qaeda. I don't believe they
That is al-Qaeda's strategy, and the cowardly nature of most Americans, whose motto is "Give me tyranny, and save my sorry ass..." lets the Republicans fear tactics backed by al-Qaeda's threats, win the Republicans elections.

Al-Qaeda, while it wants our government destroyed, is not the main reason we should be afraid of Republicans winning another election. If America fails as a nation, or in some way becomes a dictatorship (some may believe this has already happened) it will mean the end of liberty for humanity, possibly for as long as the human race continues to exist. "The symbol of the future is a boot permanently stamping on the human face." That would certainly be the truth if America fails.

This should, to all of us, show the greater importance of our cause. We are not simply working to win a single election for the Democratic Party; we are working to preserve liberty as a concept and a possibility for human beings in any nation. Never forget that. Think about that whenever you feel like things are irreversible. If we fail now, hope will no longer exist for the human race.

2. Personally I don't believe Al Queda
really exists in the way the media and the Bushistas portray them.
They don't give a rat's ass about our 'freedoms' or some such crap that Bush keeps spouting.
They just want us out of the middle east and detest our, and the UK's, colonization, occupation, and Imperialistic domination of that entire region, and our willingness to do whatever it takes to control it.
The hate our life style, and would probably prefer that we rot in our own ways that they see as leading us to damnation. They don't want to interfere with that unless they truly wish to save us from ourselves, which I kinda doubt.

3. I think you are right...
but destabilizing our country is one way they can keep us from doing the things they don't like.

4. I think this kind of talk is dumb...
Frankly I don't think Al-queda gives a damn if we elect a democrat, a republican, a nazi, or a communist.

They are going to attack us no matter what we do. They have so much hate and anger against America that they will hate and despise any person that is elected.

This is nothing but a ploy used by both parties to try to gain votes.

5. Of course they hate Americans
They hate Americans the same way the far Right in this country hates "liberals". (And the RW definition of "liberal" is anyone who doesn't support Bush** and his agenda 100%.) Ann Coulter, for example, has clearly stated that if she were in charge she'd deport all liberals. Many of those who agree with her would go further, given half a chance. This isn't dissimilar to radical Islam which goes around forcing people to fall in line with their agenda using threats and violence. Just because Bush** hasn't gotten round to the violence yet doesn't mean we shouldn't feel threatened.

So -- do we elect a President who does things to support the RW theo-fascist agenda? Or do we elect a President who puts a serious crimp in the far Right's ability to spread their hateful agenda to others in the first place?

Here's the other half of the analogy. Bush** has done nothing but play right into al Qaeda's hands since 9/11, declaring a "war on terra" and using our military to invade countries, torture detainess and kill civilians without thought. Terrorists love it. They don't have to lift a finger to find new recruits when every day Bush** gives someone in the ME a reason to take up arms against us. He's spreading their hate for them. It's just a bonus that they can also watch Bush** and his cronies destroy what this country stands for bit by bit. Any harm inflicted on us is a source of glee for them, even the self-inflicted kind.

Of course they give a damn who's running this country. As should we.
