the Brits are at it again with another Diana investigation story!
Distraction from the mess Tony Blair is in? who knows ...but the M16 part of this tale is interesting ...

Revealed: Diana inquiry's tantalising new questions
By SUE REID, Daily Mail

22:00pm 16th June 2006

New witnesses have come forward with evidence surrounding the death of Princess Diana

Astonishing claims by new witnesses are being examined by British detectives investigating Diana's death. They seem incredible. But if true, they could rock the Royal Family to its foundations.
On the night that Diana, Princess of Wales died, the lights of the British Embassy — less than a mile from the accident spot in Paris — blazed until dawn finally broke over the French capital.

Inside the imposing building, diplomats summoned from their sleep by the British ambassador, Sir Michael Jay, struggled to monitor the tragedy that was unfolding.

Millions of words have been written about the moment that Diana, with her Muslim boyfriend Dodi Fayed, smashed into pillar 13 of the Pont d’Alma road tunnel as they were being driven from the Ritz Hotel in a black Mercedes at 12.20am on Sunday, August 31, 1997.

Ever since, the precise chronology of the fateful night and the roles played by the Royal Family and the Government have been accepted almost without serious challenge.

Yet the Mail can reveal today that new eye-witnesses have emerged in the past few weeks with explosive testimony which raises profound questions about the influence of the House of Windsor and the Establishment over events surrounding the Princess’s death.

'He added: "Rosa felt obliged to reveal that, when they said goodbye on August 20, 1997, Diana's period had started and therefore it was biologically impossible for her to have been pregnant at the time of her death." '

Bullshit; it is ENTIRELY possible to have your period and be pregnant at the same time; it happened to me,and I bet others will back me up.

2. She was killed because she was pregnant
by a "black" man. No way they would let the "Royal Blood" be tainted.

That's a theory from a friend of mine.

Sounds less crazy by the day.

3. Let me add my usual caveat.

The story is from the Daily Mail, which is like Faux News only less rigorous in its journalistic standards.

Some disgruntled Mail employees plastered stickers all over London a decade ago, bearing the motto: "The Daily Mail: Right wing trash for pretentious women." Leaving aside the sexist slur for the moment, this is pretty accurate. The paper is a cross between USA Today and one of those scandal/fashion mags you see near supermarket checkout.

4. But this is the Daily Mail!
The Mail and (even worse) the Express, both right wing rags with no love for Bliar. The Express has a Diana story every week, usually on Mondays. They are deluded and bigoted.

5. *snort*
The Daily Mail is a rag. I can assure you this will not distract attention away from Tony and his messes.....as amatter of fact, to tell you what a non-story this is.......I had to find it out from you. It's the first I have heard it mentioned and I'm in the UK.:eyes: ....it's nothing more than tabloid trash.

7.  In my days they never gave up on the old Duke of Windsor and
if he helped the Germans. I guess it is a family that people like to read about. And I bet a lot of people thought WW1 put an end to all this. I will say that reading about the end days of all that stuff was always sort of interesting but sure old hat in 2006. It maybe is why it is read about so, a dead age that keeps popping up. And I do think that a lot of people really do believe that birth right rule is really a good thing. We only have to look at the two Bush's and one who talks about his brother. Save us from Jeb should be a site on the internet and now.

8. Well, the Windsors *Are* German
Their actual name is Saxe-Coburg-Gotha but they changed it to "Windsor" during WWI to draw attention away from that fact and that Kaiser Wilhelm II was King George V's cousin. And that a former king collaborated with the enemy is a wee bit more important than what happened to a melodramatic attention whore of little importance.

9. The British Royal Family has more German blood inside their collective
veins than English. King George changed the family name from Wittenberg to Windsor during the First World War and Lord Mountbatten changed his name from Battenberg. Diana was more English by blood than Charles.

11. And then look at the Russians. They also were very German
Odd group of people with a lot of power over life and death for to many years for sure. Their was a lot of German blood in the last Czar and blood on him also. That way of ruling was around a lot longer than we have been around, which people seem to for get. So at one time they were very important people. The two oldest ruling families in the world come from Japan and England.

10. I am sure Diana was more English than the royals to tell the truth
But they kept saying David helped the Germans in WW2. Who knows by then German royal family was gone so it was the war group they felt he was helping.

12. I've always thought that her death was suspicious
I'm not saying that someone had her killed, I'm just saying that the official story seems fishy to me.

After all, British royalty have all been trying to kill each other to get to the throne througout the nation's history. I'm sure that neither Charles nor his mother was thrilled that Diana was dating an arab. I just don't see Charles as being smart enough to pull it off without Mommy's help.

I don't think that anyone will ever be able to prove anything. They should let it go at this point, for William and Harry's sakes, unless they have some more evidence.
