Did anyone see last night's Daily Show episode?It showed the debate about leaving Iraq (including what Murtha has said).Calvin Trillin was the guest and discussed his book about George Bush's job as a president (A Heckuva Job).Also one of the correspondents tried to interview a Republican, but the Repub stormed out of the interview, and the Daily Show was not allowed to show any footage of the interview.So instead the correspondent called the Republican on the phone and the Daily Show filmed the phone call with the audio on speaker phone.

Just before the 'pub hung up, our intrepid reporter squeezed in the sentence:
I will take your hanging up as a "yes".. . .then we heard the dial tone.
