Joe Klein chooses foxhole with Bush-Cheney-Rove instead of Kerry- Murtha
Edited on Tue Jun-20-06 09:38 AM by blm
Did Joe Klein thank Kerry's "ethics" when HE didn't have to go to Vietnam or was he hoping to serve in Vietnam, but Kerry's "ethics" stopped him from fulfilling his dream to go to war then?

Anyone know?

What can the Democrats do? They can play politics or be responsible. The political option is to embrace "cut and run"; call for an immediate withdrawal, as Kerry did; and hope the public is so sick of Bush and sick of the war that it will punish the G.O.P. in the fall. But embracing defeat is a risky political strategy, especially for a party not known for its warrior ethic. In fact, the responsible path is the Democrats' only politically plausible choice: they will have to give yet another new Iraqi government one last shot to succeed.

BTW, Joe, Kerry's withdrawal plan DOES give the Iraqi government ONE LAST SHOT TO SUCCEED, just as you say, but I doubt Karl wrote that in his talking point sheet to you.

3. This guy has issues. If Kerry said the sky was true blue, Klein would
say he was politcizing the color of the sky and add the color of the sky is not blue, but grey. Maybe, Kerry and Murtha should challange him to back up his comments with facts.
Klein seems so upset over Kerry's continued polularity, that he would rather support the Bush side than face the honest to goodness truth.

saying it, but just know it's true - Klein is still close with them.

I really am looking forward to the 2007 Dem debates.

9. i'd rather be in a foxhole with bush-cheney-rove too...
because there's NO WAY that foxhole would be anywhere NEAR any actual combat.

it would be a "training hole", on a national guard base somewhere in texas, on a weekend.
