Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Announces Plan To Prosecute Architects . . .
Edited on Mon Jun-19-06 07:12 PM by Sugarcoated
. . . Of Alleged 2004 Election Theft...

This month, Rolling Stone ran an investigative feature claiming that Republicans used a systematic combination of voter disenfranchisement and fraud, centered in Ohio, to rob John Kerry of a win in the 2004 presidential election.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer and son of liberal icon Bobby Kennedy, wrote the article, available, along with supporting research, at rollingstone.com. Kennedy spoke to PRWeek about the story...

...PRWeek: Is there a next step?
Kennedy: I've been meeting with attorneys... to devise a litigation strategy. And I would say that very soon we'll be announcing lawsuits against some of the individuals and companies involved.

7. I'm guessing there could be a suit by those whose votes weren't counted
either because they stood in line too long, were wrongly purged from rolls or outright fraud.

20. How about simply FRAUD?
I was thinking today about a couple of folks I knew during the Kerry campaign....middle-aged folks who quit their jobs, contributed $10,000 and then worked 6 to 7 days/week on the campaign. Weren't these people ripped off?

If there is a language that the pugs understand, it is the language of $$$$$!

Bless RFK, Jr's heart. How perfect that he would be the person to come forward to help America regain her soul.

28. I've been hoping for a RICO suit against the GOP for years now.
Plenty there to satisfy the requirements, especially when you combine the same tactics used in Fla and Ohio, it makes the RICO case stronger.

Though it is not "prosecuting" the architects, the lawsuits will be extremely important. Thank you Robert!

34. I think it could
be one of the most significant cases of the century. I admit freely that I am not entirely objective when it comes to Robert. I've mentioned before about when my nephew was attacked by a gang of racist thugs, and left for dead, Robert went out of his way to help my family. And that is on top of his having gone out of his way to help an isolated, rural neighborhood in upstate NY deal with two Superfund Sites that ended up part of an important case in federal court. These are the type of things Robert does in his "spare time." And so yes, my son treasures the photos of Robert and him!

Is that the expression?

In the Huffington Post you get the occasional RW thuglie in each thread, but for this thread they're coming unhinged about this.

22. I think he can handle it.
Somehow I think he's perfect for this fight; not a politician, and not worried about what the freaks are saying, yet having the name recognition and the smarts to get attention.

16. The beginning of truth.
Just days ago I asked the question of whom would file a lawsuit. I never thought it would have been Robert Kennedy Jr.

I have hope. It's just very hard to take the arrogance, lies, crimes, and all of the rest, for so very long. But we have good among us.

23. lest we forget why we'd STILL LOVE to indict Rove:
snip:
PRWeek: This story didn't have a 'smoking gun'; was there one person coordinating this entire operation?

Kennedy: There's never going to be 100% certitude that the election was stolen, because the only way you could get that is by recounting the ballots, and the recount was illegally derailed by Republican operatives. The mastermind behind the efforts in Ohio was Kenneth Blackwell, along with… Bernadette Noe. But on a national level, it's Kenneth Mehlman and Karl Rove.

26. This could be really interesting....
We really need to shine a bright spotlight on this process. You just know that the stakes for 2006 are huge. The Republicans are going to do whatever it takes to keep both Houses....they are "all in" for this election.

32. Thank God. Finally, those who can do something about this
situation are going to get the ball rolling. They are my heroes. This is how we are going to clean up the rampant corruption in our government today. We have to bring all the criminals and unelected frauds through the courts and make them accountable for their actions, all of them, and I include the US Supreme Court in this. No one should be untouchable and the US Supreme Court violated the Constitution which they swore an oath to protect when they handed the Florida vote to Bush in 2000.

would allow blackwell and his gang to be screwed in to the ground.

I'm likin' this, its good stuff, as otherwise this unprosecuted fraud
will just repeat, and dammit, wow, good stuff kennedy.

I mean that's great and all, but it has so real significance at this time. You can sue anyone for pretty much anything.

It opens up information for discovery, but that could go on well past the 2008 elections.
