The car needs windshield wiper blades. I stopped at the franchised auto parts store for a set but the in-store "computer" only tracked to one brand. They had more brands and I wanted choice. The manager began looking up my car as I commented, 'well, what the hell, its all made in China anyway'. "Nope", he said. "Mexico".

Let's see, if its plastic it comes from China.
Any sort of stichwork means Indonesia or other islands.
If its metal it comes from India.
If its got assembled parts it comes from Mexico.

If all this shit is being made in Mexico what are Mexicans coming here for? Surely not manufacturing jobs. Those jobs have gone to Mexico.

A couple of weeks ago President Fox said that in 10 years the United States would be looking for Mexicans to come and work. He might be right.

I dare say that other than fresh food, a person could go for years and never buy anything that was manufactured in the USA.
