4. Why do they even hold a press conference if they don't know anymore
than anything that has been previously reported. I mean talk about beating a dead horse.

6. Because the press wants it.
They want official confirmation that there is nothing further to report.

5. They were an fabricated story to allow investigators to search the
building with out warrants or other legal devices.

I know, this looks like conspiracy thinking but; with Hasert and bu$h going round on the Jefferson search, one must wonder.

9. Honestly, I am embarrassed for thinking it, but look at all of the
suspicious deaths that this administration is somehow connected to!

12. At least the US Capitol Police are conducting the investigation...
and they are the protection agency for Congress, and directly report to Congress.

11. OTHER:
Supposedly some construction workers "admitted hammering on metal" (reporter-speak).

There are construction tools... 'nail guns' that are used to attach wood or metal to concrete, etc. They use teeny charges quite similar to a small 22 bullet to shoot the fastener. These are very ordinary tools. Why heck, a pal was using one at my house weeks ago to secure a new storage shed to the concrete slab so it won't blow away in the wind.

Is there any construction going on in the DC area? Nah.
