Reba, who hosted the ACM telecast, ruffled a few feathers with her on-air quip about the Dixie Chicks.
“I don’t know why I was so nervous about hosting the show this year,” she began.
“If the Dixie Chicks can sing with their foot in their mouths, surely I can host this sucker.”
Afterward, Reba told reporters that she was hesitant about the line, and actually took some
Dixie Chicks jokes out of the script. But she put the one joke back in after Dixie Chick
Martie Maguire took an apparent shot at her in the new issue of Time magazine,
saying she didn’t want the group in a “five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith.”

it was a fabulous interview, you won't here anything like it on ABC.

they sang landslide and their new single. you can bet the GMA bots won't ask anyything interesting about politics (can't upset the mind-numbed american public) or have much of a rapport. you know we can't have any of those ciphers expres an opinion.

8. They did Howard Stern yesterday,

Not the type of interview that you could do on MSM, but as typical Stern, very good. Not only did they give up the normal Stern sexual questions , they answered the political ones far better than on any other media. Thank god for satellite radio where I can live in an adult world without fundies running my life. Before I get flamed. if you don't like Stern, don't listen to him, but he is without a doubt the best interviewer in media.
