the toilet humor is a little gross for pre- 8:00 a.m. but funny nonetheless.

8. Trisha Yearwood is a Democrat, and he's going to be her husband.
Surprising he'd sign an exclusive deal with Walmart ... but that was a great chuckle.

12. In Garth's Defense:
It was well known that working on the road for Garth Brooks was the best job in the touring music industry. He paid extremely well(frankly, he made his road crew wealthy) and treated them like gold. No more than five people traveled on any tour bus. Also, since he was once a roadie himself, he was known to enjoy climbing up onto the lighting truss and crawling around, focusing his own lighting instruments.

Everyone who worked for him loved him to death, to a man or woman.

Just something I thought needed to be shared.

14. I like Garth
I went to see him in concert and he said he would keep going and going as long as he had people in the stands... I ended up leaving early because it was past midnight. :-)

But I still loved the video!

17. he's also pro-GLBT
IIRC, Garth's sister is an out lesbian and he supports her 100%.
He's nowhere near my cup of tea musically, but by all accounts a decent guy so far as major-league country stars go.

15. The toilet licking scene was just about the most coffee spitting thing Ive
ever seen.

I can't believe Garth did an exclusive contract with WalMart. He must have wanted to put out some bad shit that wasn't gonna sell anyways.

OT: I've been looking for that song because I think it's a perfect ringtone to assign to calls from my friends (the original, that is)

24. He didn't need to sell his soul to Wal-Mart.
I've never been much of a fan of Garth, although I admired his innovation and talent. Seems to me Wal-Mart is desperate for a reason to get more people into their stores. Come in to buy a Garth CD, look around and pick up some more items.

Hopefully people can still buy his music online through other means, if they want to listen to him.
