I discovered something interesting about Repugs and weight loss.

I belong to a weight loss board that has lots of Repug. They frequently delete my posts as political even if I say nothing about Bush! I recently noticed a correlation with weight loss and political affiliation. Almost all the Repugs blame advertising and the media for their weight problem! They feel it is not possible for them to lose weight as long as commercials showing food are allowed. It seems they think it is irresponsible of the networks to even allow food commercials! This proves what kind of sheep they are. Another thing I noticed, they cannot follow the rules of a diet and whine constantly that they just can't give up whatever. Liberals usually master the diet plan, (actually "read" it) and lose weight.The Repukes spend all their effort trying to have their cake and eat it too. They are constantly regaining their weight and never blaming themselves. Just wanted to share.

since everyone who has sex out of wedlock can't control themselves...SHAME. But a commercial causes them to eat. Remind them there is a remote...or maybe for some exercise they should get up and change channels. Better yet, turn off the TV and go for a walk.

They also have a "christian gruop" that is the most hateful vengeance ridden bunch I have ever encountered and they are the first to talk of others "lack of control. They are really big on the death penalty. Nice people. Hypocrite is the word i was looking for!

2. If the site you're going to

is WW, stay away from the message boards! I only use the site for tracking points and getting CORE recipes. I learned my lesson on their message boards. The right wingers there make the Free Republic gang look like educated, reasonable people. Don't engage in their road rage. Use the site only for all the good stuff it offers. The message boards there are overrun with fundamentalists who have been sorely deprived of educational opportunities.

4. No it isn't. They have a pretty diverse group but the Fundies are the most

obnoxious. They had to close their political section down mostly, I think because of them. Now they (fundies ) watch my posts like a hawk for anything that could even vaguely be linked to Bush. But the liberals are great and wepost snarky little things that are way above the fundies heads. They just don't get it and they have NO sense of humour! I keep hoping they will have "one small dinner mint more' and explode, ala Monty Phython!
