Indictment Parties! (Rove Raves?)

They're always trying to get us to have "house parties" around a particular issue, to spread the word and educate ourselves.

How about a house party to *celebrate* something for a change? I for one, if this blessed indictment does actually happen, am going to pop open the champagne, and I'd much rather celebrate with some like-minded patriotic dissidents, than sitting in my recliner with the channel changer in my hand.

I was just emailing a friend to invite him over if/when it happens, and the phrase "Rove Rave" popped into my mind. I've never been to a Rave, but it sort of has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

Anyway, let's all try to "take a load off" if/when it happens. We've been overworked, underslept, stressed out, worried about our country, for several years now. This isn't the breaking of the dam, but it's a big domino to fall and who knows where it will lead. We all deserve a breather.

We could even have some "party threads" going in DU and create a virtual online party, or even use a chat site to party in real time.

Here in Vermont, I'm probably just going to have 3-4 folks over who have been watching this story unfold with me, and we'll "consume alcoholic beverages" to celebrate the relief. Maybe put a photo of Rove on a dartboard and practice our aim. Play "pin the tail on the Pig-man?"

Of course nothing has happened yet, so don't reserve the ballroom at the Hilton just yet. But if/when it happens, let's all party and celebrate. We all could use it.
