"Mr. Kroft, could you possibly have been any more negative in your depiction of the Dixie Chicks in your 60 minutes story tonight? They, unlike the cowardly media, have spoken truth to power WRT the lies that got us into the war in Iraq. Bush has lied and broken laws concerning the war in Iraq & spying on Americans (& many other things) and you cowards just tow the line. I think the Dixie Chicks have kicked the ignorant rednecks aside and decided to go for a more open minded crowd - and I think it will be a very successful transition. Country was popular with everyone when I was a kid in the 70's - if you remember. That was before the ignorant angry bigot rednecks took over and ruined it. Their previous album did quite fine BTW, you basically lied about that. I suppose you in the media are not going to report the indictment of Karl Rove when it comes down this week, or perhaps you will ignore the "shocking" news that former NSA staffer Russell Tice will be testifying to this week. Please try to be real reporters and not cow to this administration."
