O.K. Legends Ball vs. * Prime Time vs. The Apprentice vs. Rove Indictment
coverage tomorrow night. Which do I choose? Is Bush going to pre empt Oprah and/or Aprrentice? Will Rove indictment break and totally take over the airways? Is tomorrow going to be so jam packed with news that I will end up with a migrane trying to keep up?

Rove indictment for me will usurp all else in newsland. I am waitng for the announcement. I wonder how this is being kept so quiet? I didn't see anything on the news shows this a.m. about it. Because of this, I now know that the media is certainly STILL controlled and not acting freely.

1. Maybe because it hasn't happened yet
or they want to make sure they have the facts and Fitzgerald is not much for leaking. The media will be all over this once the indictment is officially anounced. Tweety is waiting on pins and needles - he had his crew ready to be all over it this weekend if it had been announced Friday. Thankfully, the main stream media consists of more than just FOX and bloggers. It its true, we will know it early this week.

3. Fitz's indictment of Libby was during the day--so no problem there.

5. I think Chris Matthews knows something is going on!!
Since he is so close to the Plame case and maybe even involved somehow, I believe he knows something is about to happen!! He was "chomping at the bit" this AM on his show on NBC. I guess they ( MSM)are forced to hold back until it's heard from the horses mouth (Fitz) about the horses ass (Rove)!! It was the first story on his program. Did anyone else watch it?? I got such a "gut feeling" when he was talking about it that he knows already. Perhaps he reads DU too??!!!

9. I think so to, but tweety was careful to phrase the question about
how it would affect The election season, IF Rove were to be indicted.

6. What is this "Legends Ball" I keep hearing about?
It sounds indulgent and ill-conceived from what I have heard. Which was Oprah prattling on and on about it.

8. Don't know much, but supposedly Oprah forgot to invite Cicely
Tyson (?) for her 50th birthday party. So Oprah has made up this party starting with the intention making up to Cicely and the idea grew into something where all of the people that had a major impact on Oprah's life and I think what are considered "legends" in Hollywood, are gathered for this "spectacular" event that Oprah is putting on.... Honestly that is all I know and don't hold me to the details, but from what I remember froom watching "The View", this was her explanation. (I didn't catch the whole interview on the view either, since I don't watch the show normally).

10. Bush WILL pre-empt Oprah (not a good thing)
but if the Rove thing breaks, they will split screen it.. My guess is that Rove news will break between 9-5..probably earlier..to make the nightly news..

Junior will preempt Oprah, and piss all her fans off..
