Brazil discusses huge construction--oil pipeline scaling Amazon River

w/ distances exceeding the largest existing pipeline from Russia to Europe, and an architectural feat similar to the the Great Wall of China.

I viewed this incredulously on international satellite TV last night.

Surely this is just a unviable notion to soon be discarded??
