Taxus home of the 7.2 pound perch and the 200 pound quail...
The fish stories really get big down there in the Lone Star State, just like everything else does! I think Bush is the biggest one I ever saw! Kind of like his extra large enchanted fish...bigger than life by a long shot...

Mega-Perch.

EDIT...Maybe we need to all set down and write an email to Pat and Jerry and get them to lay the healing hands on Bush's lying tongue...The Great White AWOL speaks every word with a forked tongue and I think it's afflicted to the max!

8. I hope the perch apologized to Bush for being caught.
The way that well bred man-quails do after being shot.

3. No - these are fish
http://www.lukemoffatt.com/catfish/catfish_top.htm

Even the ones which Luke went after are not the size of the ones my chiropractor has caught - just under 200lbs and I've seen the picture to prove. When I was down at Lake Cumberland KY I asked it there any catfish and the locals just looked at me and said
"bigger than you" So - screw **** and his Texas fairy tales.

4. Where I'm from in Texas
my dad used perch for bait. That's how small they are. I was surprised to learn later that in other areas, they grow large enough so you can eat them.

5. It appears it could be a translation
error. Perch and Bass are the same word except bass are see brasch and perch are just brasch.
But it still is an incredibly stupid thing for dumb ass to say.

7. I'll tell you a true fish story...
I have fished in the very lake in Germany,(Edersee)where the European record, European Perch,(brasch)(sp)was taken. That record fish weighed 15.43 pounds. I have caught some European Perch, but the ones I've caught were in the two pound or so range and the Germans I spoke with, who were fishing there at the time, called them brasch.(sp) I also caught some good sized pike out of the same lake. The tackle stores around the lake are full of huge pike that they have caught and mounted and hung up in their windows to lure in the fishermen. It is a beautiful place to fish because the water is clear and clean and the Waldeck Castle, on the mountain overlooking the lake, can be seen for miles.

The Edersee lake was one of the German lakes where the famous WWII skip bombing took place. When the Dam was bombed and breached, the torrent the bomb released wiped out towns for miles downstream. The patching the Germans had to do to repair the dam, was still clearly visible in the 70s.

6. The perch that swim in the President's lake are full of more crap...
than a normal perch. That is why the weigh more. The perch also have this odd trick they do when they are pinned down, they reverse the direction of their digestive tract and spew crap out of their mouths. It is interesting to note the President also is full of more crap and can spew it out of his mouth when pinned down by a questioner.
