My comment to NPR regarding "intelligence failures"
I sent the following email to NPR's All Things Considered regarding a reference to "intelligence failures" in their broadcast last week.

I was listening to your broadcast last week and heard reference to the "intelligence failures" that led to our invasion of Iraq.

I'm tired of hearing this talking point reported as fact. There were no failures of intelligence gathering. There was a deliberate campaign of lying by the administration, disclosing pieces of intelligence that supported it and suppressing those that didn't, as indicated by recent filings in the Scooter Libby case claiming that portions of a National Intelligence Estimate were declassified by Bush so that they could be leaked "legally."

Making this campaign of lies more cynical is the fact that Bush pulled the security clearances of most congressmen and senators after 9/11/2001, so congress only knew what the administration wanted them to know in the run up to invading Iraq.

Please stop spreading disinformation. The corporate media doesn't need any help.

Why would you expect anything else from these lapdogs? Their veneer of objectivity makes them far more despicable than the corporate media.

3. NPR (Neocon Public Relations)
This morning Carl Kassell slurped and lisped and sprayed his way through a sentence regarding the "alleged interrogation techniques" at the concentration camp in Guantanamo Bay. Holy fuck, these people amaze me.

4. What's so sad is that they used to be a balanced source of information
Now they are just another lapdog media outlet.

5. Neil Conan
or whatever his name is, is such a tool.

He always tows the party line, though he thinks he's being subtle.
