Bush's 7 1/2 lb perch

I hate to beat a dead fish, but if Bush caught a 7 1/2 lb perch he's just almost doubled the world record according to two sources. White perch 4 lb 12 oz, and yellow perch 4 lb 3 oz, unless THEY put a Nile perch in the ol' fishin' hole for him -- 232 kg or 105 lb 8 oz.

He couldn't be lying could he?

family so I'm guessing it was a large mouth, but I would bet money that it was maybe a 3 pounder or so, beings that he lies about everything else.

are actually bass. I chased that old illusive 8 pounder line sides for 5 years a couple decades back. Did catch an honest 7 pounder though. Haven't been bass fishing now in years, catfish, crappie and perch are my love now. Now I fish for table fare back then I fished for bragging rights.
