What happene with that ethics reform legislation today?

What happene with that ethics reform legislation today?
I had to go do a bunch of yardwork and when I left, they were doing voice votes on an amendment. Voice votes piss me off. I think that Gormer? Gortex? the R from Texas' admendment was next up for vote.

2. It passed.
Latest Major Action: 5/3/2006 Passed/agreed to in House. Status: On passage Passed by recorded vote: 217 - 213 (Roll no. 119).

We only needed to switch THREE votes.

The thread that was going yesterday asking people to call their reps got almost no responses, while threads about other non-urgent topics were quite lively.

I only hope all those people in those other threads did all they could, and called their reps repeatedly.
