Righteous Anger at the Wicked States: The Meaning of the Founders' Constitution
Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson chronicles the history of the U.S. Constitution in his book "Righteous Anger at the Wicked States." Calvin Johnson is the Andrews & Kurth Centennial Professor of Law at the University of Texas School of Law.

Painting the Map Red: The Fight to Create a Permanent Republican Majority
Hugh Hewitt

Hugh Hewitt argues that Democrats could win back both the House and Senate during the 2006 mid-term elections and suggests ways for Republicans to limit this possibility. He says that for Republicans to regain the momentum they have lost recently, they should concentrate on four things: winning the war, confirming their judicial nominees, cutting taxes, and controlling spending. Weekly Standard executive editor Fred Barnes and Democratic strategist Bob Beckel provide commentary. The event was hosted by the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC.

Hugh Hewitt's radio show can be heard in 70 cities around the country. He also teaches constitutional law at Chapman University Law School in Orange, California. Professor Hewitt's books include "Blog: Understanding the Information Reformation That's Changing Your World" and "If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat: Crushing the Democrats in Every Election and Why Your Life Depends on It."
