...so no way would I bring that up. That would be beyond the pale, imo.

However, a constituent-type letter expressing your deep dismay at the (itemized) damage, destruction, death, and general chaos wrought by the Bush administration would be entirely in order. Also in order would be expressions of concern with regard to the Constitutional crisis brought about specifically by the Congress refusing to do its mandated job of being a check on the powers of the Executive.

If the guy goes around publicly claiming to be a good Christian who upholds family values, throw the book at him -- the Good Book, that is. Use the Sermon on the Mount to show him the error of his ways, and how Republican policies have done more to undo Christ's work in this world than anything else in our generation.
