And I feel so furious that it has taken this long I can't even eat lunch. My stomach is in a knot.

Sometimes I think the only way to stop being so damn maddddddddddddddd is to sell this place and go develop affordable housing myself on the Gulf Coast. It would probably only be a few units but at least then I could get mad at the right people and not just my own damn lunch. :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

I don't know how you all deal with everything -- or even, just the ANGER.

2. My son's still volunteering in St. Bernard parish.
Bureaucracy is alive and well...on Sunday, they are going to start fining people $100 a day if they haven't cleaned their places up yet.

He's amazed by the resiliency of the people who have managed to return to their homes. They deal with all the bs because there isn't anything else they can do.

Hope you're doing well, Merh. Are you still in the femamansion?

Take care!

:hi:

3. I'm still in my fema land yacht
but I have hopes that a project I have been working on will come to fruition soon. Thanks for asking and the good wishes - the support helps more than you know.

4. I really like my place here but I'm barely keeping it
It's peaceful, quiet and right on the bay, but I paid rent today and it took everything I had. I really need another job - like yesterday.
