Living off the grid (for the most part)
I am thinking of writing a series on living off the grid and thought this might be the best group to start with. Though my perspective is from a boat, many of the things I have learned and adopted can be applied to RV's or small homes. Primary issues of food, water, waste, electricity, refrigeration, communication and entertainment could be addressed one at a time, then members of this group could add their own information from the perspective of your own personal experiences.

It gives me tremendous joy to be self-sufficient, and I think many here also share that. Is having a miniscule footprint, very low living expenses and the ability to cut away from the rat race topics that others would be interested in discussing?
