i have been hearing this a lot from men. some right wing women. and some men on du. the concern, it seems to bottom line to, is they no longer have the dominance. power. control.

women work, divorce, can be independent, sexually adventurous and the men are having a tough time with it

I think it's a pretty good measurement of how deep male entitlement actually goes. Well meaning men-- the ones who try not to, or just aren't, assholes-- often don't 'get it'. I think the reason is dominance has been part and parcel of being male and part of the definition of 'masculinity' for so long it takes great effort for them to think any other way.
