I'm on the weight loss trek...again.
I have always battled with my weight and have gone on numerous treks in the past. I was 350 the beginning of this month (Sept). I know that the ultimate plan is to exercise more and eat less. I had success with the Rice Diet last year but just kind of fell off of it and gained a lot of my weight back. As a result, it was hard for me to jump back on it mentally. I am currently using the Weight Watchers points plan and working with a friend of mine. I was down 5 pounds this Monday after the first week. It seems I am on track for another 5 pounds this week. The last few times I have lost weight I kind of stalled at about 270-280 so my hope is to break that barrier this time and not go back up.

3. You might want to look into The Gabriel Method.
Jon Gabriel dieted his weight up to over 400 pounds. And in desperation, discovered how to permanently lose over 220
pounds while looking fit and like he was never fat. His book is available for about ten dollars on Amazon. It is a quick read
that can change your life. It is not a diet. You actually start by adding healthy foods to what you are eating.

The premise of this method is you can only lose what your body is comfortable with you losing. Try to lose otherwise,
and your body will just find a way to restore the fat. When you learn what your body needs in order to want to be thin,
the extra weight will leave. I have lost over 50 pounds in a little over a year eating 30% more food than I ever ate on a diet,
feeling great and having fun.
