1. If you like snark....
I really recommend the Our Dear Laura threads at Salon Tabletalk. (Yes, it's an ugly interface, but the people make up for it.) It's a pure snark thread with a political bent.

3. Former fametracker here
Long story short, there was a huge fracas on the boards sometime last month and Glark/Wing decided to shut them down permanently. There's a couple other places where FTers are hanging out now. I forgot the one site's URL but here's the one I've been hanging at:
