Hey, if they're gonna inflict this tie spam on me, I'm gonna share the joy. :evilgrin:

1. couldn't you get your techies

to install something like DSPAM, where most of the spam stays on the server and you can truly train the software to identify it? We've got it here and I love it; 95% of the crapola never gets downloaded to my laptop anymore. I can visit it in quarantine if I want to see what I'm not getting (on the off chance something good hasn't gotten through) but the quickest of peeks is all that's required. Anything that does get through I forward to a "spam" address so it's identified as spam and the software knows for future reference that it's spam, spam, spam, spam.... works like a treat.


And damn, that is not a tie I'd want to encounter if I had a hangover.

2. Well, I suspect that when I bought the tie,

I got added to their mailing list and so it doesn't come across as real, bonafide spam.

and actually, I kinda enjoy it. They sell some really nice (and completely unaffordable) stuff....

4. wouldn't matter with DSPAM. You could still train it to call their email

spam. But if you like the attention, stop whinging. :P
