. . . Hmmmm -- it's possible this will be the first ALL FLOATY-HEART thread.

1. Just a second here, I thought these threads got locked
if they got too, ahem, "colorful."

Otherwise I can think of at least one ride that it would have to include, for your sake and mine if no one else's.

Let's just say it would have something to do with a slight bow, and leave it at that.

20. Just Kahuna, please ...
. . . Bill O'Reilly calls himself (or has his flacks call him) "the Big Kahuna." In otherwords, a wheel.

By contrast, Keith is a kahuna in the true Hawaiian sense: that of a master of his trade or craft, and guide to newbies. :loveya:

30. The Kahuna Rollercoaster! The top of the hill...
...is where he's doing a great show in full snark.

The deep pits and valleys: VACATION.

"Oh, were there ever five sad words
More full of woe and gloom and blight,
than these five words I give to you:
'Alison in for Keith tonight.'"

(let's hope it ain't so!)

27. Now just a darned second here, I have to protest.
What IS it with this seemingly universal belief that Keef is a Yankees fan and ONLY a Yankees fan?!?!?!?

I mean, fer cryin' out loud, he ruined his depth perception by colliding with a subway to (or was it from?) a METS game, not a Yankees game!

Now let's be reasonable, people. I know the first game he ever watched was a Yankees game. I know his mom was a Yankees fan and remains one to this day despite getting beaned by Chuck Knobhead, I mean Knoblauch. But sheesh--didn't he even say in the "Big Show" book that he stopped being a fan of any one team when he became a sportscaster? Do I have to go back and look up the chapter and verse here? :-)

It seems to me that with his frighteningly comprehensive knowledge of baseball, our KO utterly transcends the definition of "Yankees fan." The man is a BASEBALL fan, pure and simple. He loves the SPORT.

Which, of course, makes things all the worse for us, because it means that there's really no way to predict when he's going to work and when not, all season long. Somewhere, there is always a game being played, and he could always get the itch to go.

And heck, even if he just tries to go to games located within a subway ride of his home, that pretty much doubles the chances of him being at a game rather than doing the show on any given night.

Wait. I just said I wasn't going to worry about this.

Oops.

42. Because they're a BASEBALL team?
He's also had himself photographed for his own baseball cards wearing an old NY Giants uniform and a modern NY Mets uniform. You'd think if he were hot on the Yankees and only the Yankees he'd insist on wearing Yankees uniforms. But no.

Yet all I hear people imply over and over is that he's some sort of Yankee fanatic. I'm not sayin' he hates 'em, far from it. Obviously they're the team of his childhood fandom. But as I say, I think he has transcended that to the point where we can assume he's a die-hard Yankee fan who, when he is home, goes only to Yankees games. I'm sure he'd just as soon go to a Mets game. Or a Giants game if they had not moved. Or a Dodgers game if they had not moved.
